I once again want to lay before the Lord, and ask you to join with me in prayer, lifting up the children and young people in our church and community. As a church, we put a great amount of time and effort into ministering to our kids – and I want to thank you for that concern. When we have kids in our home, they do take a lot of time and attention! And they are one of the greatest stewardship responsibilities God ever gives us because he is entrusting us to care for their spirit and our efforts make an ETERNAL difference in their lives, and in time the generations that come after them.
But it is not just our own flesh and blood children that Jesus loves, cares for, and gave his life for. It is for all people. And the kids of our community are themselves developing their own way of how they look at life. We can influence and shape their lives and eternity! And AWANA and Youth Group are two tools by which we can do that in our discipleship ministry. Please pray that we would CARE FOR each of the kids who comes and realize that discipleship is about the RELATIONSHIP that we build with them through which the truth is proclaimed and takes root in their hearts. YOU ARE THE CHOSEN INSTRUMENT to embody Christ’s love and communicate the Good News. Pray that each leader would be ready to love the kids that come, so hearts are open to receive the good news of Christ and grow in Him.
Your Prayers Matter!
